About Us
ALDH – the Lusophone Human Rights Association – has as its purpose the defense of the values, culture, and rights of Portuguese-speaking peoples, who, in spirit and in practice, seek peaceful cooperation among all races and creeds.
In other words, this means a conscious and committed engagement in the areas most sensitive to the preservation of the planet as a whole, such as: abandoned children, mass unemployment, pockets of hunger and underdevelopment, ecological crimes, the irrational exploitation of natural resources, illiteracy, and access to health care—while also addressing the higher spiritual needs of the human being, no less essential to human health and happiness.
